About

Why Willow/Kennedy?
Willow and Kennedy's relationship was all wrong. After Tara's death, though I am a dedicated Willow/Tara fan, I never expected Willow to be single forever, that would be unfair and I love the character of Willow so much, I'd hate to see her unhappy. However, the fact that she became involved with the first gay woman she met (and a bratty, immature one at that) seemed to me to undermine the magic that was the relationship between Willow and Tara. Joss Whedon tried to make up for it by setting aside an episode solely about Willow's guilt where after kissing Kennedy, she turns into Warren (The Killer In Me), personally, I don't think it worked and I continued to hate Kennedy and their relationship all the way through season 7. Ultimately, the real problem, was that Kennedy could never be Tara, who was without a doubt Willow's true soulmate.
